EAR TUBE is a physical sound game for 2 players, designed to elicit a playful joint interaction among children with ASD. The game invites one player to speak into one side of a colorful tube, while the other player can manipulate the recorded voice with buttons and sliders on the other side of the tube. A large colorful slider allows players to exchange roles in voicing and manipulating the sound. The tube is hollow in order to encourage the players to create playful eye-contact through the tube. The game has been shown to promote physical interaction, joint decision-making and verbal exchange among children with ASD.
